Try this (tested it on both of my Mac's, should be good to go; are you on Bowtie 1.2?)

Thanks for all the feedback, by the way, I want this to be as perfect as it possibly can be.

That's utterly bizarre, I can't reproduce the error at all.

    Here's the original version:

I'm honestly baffled, as it should be uniform from user to user since it's all rendered in WebKit. If anyone's having alignment issues, feel free to hit me up on AIM at torlok10 and we'll get it sorted out. Might be easier than cluttering up the thread.

I really really like this, but I can't use it when I apply lighter wallpapers. The text effects might need to have a toggle for dark/light backgrounds.

Yeah, the webkit stroke isn't for everyone, and definitely not on light backgrounds.

Here's a version more suited to light backgrounds. Essentially just removed the stroke from the song name text.

I get alignment issues in Bowtie as well. Not only those that @Sakanade has, but also when I press down on the >>/<<, the active state is 2px too high: http://d.pr/lvcc

On a side note, this is by far the best skin I've seen; fantastic work!

I've essentially narrowed down the alignment issues to the way in which CSS background image positions are rendered for different users. They're all assigned consistently in the style sheet and then positioned appropriately, but for some users the alignment certainly appears to be off.

That said, on proper release, Dustin and I have decided to offer an alternative version without the active/inactive states, that avoids the use of background elements to present two button states and simply offers the active states which allows us to position things more consistently.

We've edited the plist on the second version to keep it from overwriting the standard too.

I hope that's a solution folks can live with, as the only alternative would likely be tweaking the stylesheet user by user for those that encounter the error. If anyone here knows another method to facilitate the button states that avoids the CSS issue, let me know and we'll implement it, provide credit and all that. :)

    Edit: updated for Ecoute 2.
