I'm having this weird issue with my jailbroken iPhone 4. Seems like after I install any app or anything that affects the springboard, I get this:
Is anyone else having this issue? Anything I can do to fix it? If I re-spring they go away but I'm sick of re-springing 5x a day.

Respring, I occasionally get this too.

It's an issue with the current version of libhide. I'm not sure why they haven't fixed it yet. Respringing fixes it temporarily, but it will probably come back next time you download an appstore app.

I get issues with icons blanking out on my iPhone 4 and it's not even jailbroken. I think there might be a deeper bug that libhide might be causing to happen more often. It might also be a completely unrelated issue though.

I have the exact same problem when installing development versions of app, whereas it's in Xcode with build&go or with the iPhone configuration utility.

I personally have this problem when simply updating app store application's. For example the other day I updated facebook, and I had this problem. Its quite annoying, however a simply respring (if jailbroken) fixes the problem.

pretty sure its an issue with sbsettings poof, because sometimes when i install an app or cydia app this might pop up. a respring fixes it, but it's not happening to me 5 a day, maybe twice a week.

i dont think sakurina's post is the same as Fusion's. What's happening to fusion is that those icons never show up, but due to something happening with springboard or renamer, they show out of no where.

I've seen those apps randomly appear too. Is it safe to just delete them from /Applications?
EDIT: Just did, doesn't seem like it had any adverse effects, at least they're gone now. -
I've seen this discussion on multiple forums. The author of SBSettings had said it is an issue with libhide and is looking into it.
Sakhrina's bug happens momentarily for me also, but only when first downloading a purchased application, and once the download begins it is remedied automatically.

Yeah, I didn't even notice the names of the apps. My issue is definitely unrelated.
And those apps are system-provided apps and should ideally not be deleted. AdSheet serves iAds, DemoApp is for Apple Store demo units, iPodOut is a new car interaction thing IIRC, WebSheet is for Web clips IIRC. Not sure what Pedigree and TrustMe are.
