    Hey there!
I recently released a "quick-launch" page for your browser that has integrated search (Google / DuckDuckGo). It features a simple, yet elegant design with the focus on the logo of the site.

    Example Icons

The icons measure 200x138 pixels. If you do create any new ones, feel free to post theme here in this thread.
There is a template.psd in the download.

How to: Add sites to Quick Launch's index.html
    Code structure
    <div class="bookmark"> <a href="<SITE URL>" class="thumb" title="<SITE NAME>"><img src="img/<SITE ICON>" alt="<SITE NAME>" /></a> </div>

    Example
    <div class="bookmark"> <a href="http://twitter.com/" class="thumb" title="Twitter"><img src="img/twitter.png" alt="Twitter" /></a> </div>

Just copy the code snippet into a text editor and replace the placeholders in the <>-tags. Make sure there actually is an image for the site you want to add in the /img/ directory. If not, you have to create it yourself or search the thread.
Next, you'll need to open the index.html file in a text editor and copy the code snippet into it (between or after the already existing sites).

    - Simon

I find this so attractive! <3
I've been using my own "quick-launch" pages for a while now and I've tried both image-based and text-based versions. Currently I'm using a text-based one and the reason for that is because some websites simply don't have a logo or the one they have should be hidden. I would love to use your creation, but I would have to drop some websites from my list.
Another difficulty (again, perhaps just for me) is that in order to maintain the "prettyness" you've accomplished so far, every logo should be flat. Almost every popular website has a flat version of its logo, but the other ones don't.
I'm just pointing these things out, and hoping you or someone has some suggestions on how to bypass them.

    Great work, Simon! :D

I'm having the same troubles as pedroL I can't get my site bookmarks to meet your prettiness of the flat look here.

    @Simon:

That would be great! But perhaps too much trouble on your side, no?
The ones I have on my startpage are quite a few: http://d.pr/Zulr

Simon, I love you for this. This is the first ever "quick-launch" page I'm going to use.
I'd personally love generic bookmarks for a "download" and "bank" website. I'll try to throw some together, but to be honest; I'm not good at design.

    Edit
Generic torrent one, if anyone wants it:

Noticed your Google+ bookmark was off to the right with 2 pixels, so I fixed it.

Made these for this awesome launch page. I did these pretty quickly, so they aren't that good, but you can use them if you want. :)
(I don't know why the light brown, I just wanted to try something other than white)
