    After an amazing three years, I have decided to close Macristocracy.

    There are many reasons for this.

    • My, and most of the staff's time are being pulled in many different directions to more important projects/family matters.
    • The community has started to decline in both quality and activity. I fault no one on this. It is the way of things.
    • I would rather Macristocracy be remembered for what it was/sought to be, rather than what it is likely to become: another MacThemes-like graveyard.

    ...just to name a few.

    I know there will be uproar about this. And I hope so. Step up to the plate and make something bigger and better than what we did here. Prove me wrong that this type of close-knit community isn't a lost hope. I'd love for you to do that, truthfully.

    Anyhow.

    I have nothing but pride and sincere thanks for all of our staff and members. You all made this awesome while it lasted.

    Now go make something better.

    We will likely be "closing" the site to comments but it will remain "up" for at least another year for archiving purposes.

    Macristocracy is an idea that won't be forgotten. Honestly, a lot of people I would consider friends, I have come in-contact with through theming. M* being the bridge.

    Thank you to the Staff, resident artists, and everyone else who made this forum a wonderful place.

    Despite not being an active user on Macristocracy, I have always enjoyed it's presence in the community and I am sad to see it go.

    It's disappointing, but I can totally understand these reasons.

    Nevertheless, it was great to be a part of this community. I got to know a lot of nice people and will be sure to stay in contact with them.
