Piracy is, despite your stance, prohibited in this forum. We respect all rights of authors.

No "bumping" — i.e. no one-word responses to threads such as "FIRST!" or "pluswan!" Poor conversational skill such as this will result in poster being reprimanded. If a thread has been idle for two months or greater, whisper the thread's author; do not bump the thread.

Be mature. We realize that many of our members may not be adults, but all are expected to act like one. Be respectful and you will receive respect. Be disrespectful and you will receive the business end of the banstick. Posts without proper capitalization and intentionally poor grammar will result in the poster being reprimanded.

Do not post something that is not relative to the context of the thread. If you are found guilty (by a moderator, not a jury of your peers ) you will be destroyed in a way that an administrator or staff member deems fit.

Do not "flame". If you post in a manner that intentionally irritates and nags other members, you will be destroyed in a way that an Administrator or Moderator deems fit.

This is an English speaking forum. If you are unable to speak english, use a translator. This is not discriminatory, this is because English is the most common language among site visitors.

Do not post requests in a thread. (The exemptions being threads labeled as request threads.) Posting requests in a thread (specifically iPhone theme threads) only clutters the thread and causes distraction from the work displayed. Most themes provide templates, if you have requests, we greatly encourage you to take a shot at designing the icons yourself. However, spend a good deal of time to produce quality work. There is a level of skill among Macristocracy artists, and you should aim for their calibre, understanding that you may not be a full-time designer, the community is dedicated to providing quality feedback to improve your skills.

The Release sections of this site are only posted in by members with the status "Resident Artist". Otherwise, if your thread is deemed a quality release, a moderator will move your thread into the proper Release section. If you have ignored comments and help criticism, your thread will not be moved. That said, you do not have necessarily follow said criticism, but do not ignore it or pass it off as ignorant drivel that is below your level of artistry.

    DO NOT TRADE INVITES.

If you are inactive, you will be removed/banned. We do this to ensure no "lurking leakers" as well as to encourage community interaction.

Macristocracy reserves the right to change, edit, delete, ban, or remove any post or member for any reason.

Macristocracy members are required to put effort into their posts.

As stated above, no one-word responses. This is not limited to "PLUSWAN!" Posts that simply say "Nice!" or "Great!" will be deleted. If you like something, explain why you do.

You are required to capitalize, use proper punctuation, and reread your posts before submitting to check for grammatical consistency and intelligent thought.

This is not a forum of lazy middle schoolers, we are intelligent, professional artists.

Also, thanks to me being a member of the Macristocracy staff, foul language of any kind will not be tolerated.

An added note: If you invite someone, explain to them that they need to put effort into their application before submitting. We will delete an application if it had no effort put into it.

Just because I didn't write them doesn't mean that these new rules are not gospel. They are in fact laws you must abide by.
