    This is beautiful Rickie. Nice job! My only suggestion is maybe changing the site's background color. It's too much tan and brown for me. Great work though. I look forward to visiting once it's live.

    I like it!

    A few suggestions:

    • about the upper "rickiesherman"... I think it would look better if "rickie" was more distinctive from "sherman", perhaps by accenting their color differences;
    • I agree with Mitch's suggestion... put more space between the "dots" and the image above and the text below;
    • I don't really like the single-squared corner... at least 2 IMO;

    I agree with pedroL, and I also think that putting the full URLs and email addresses isn't really necessary. I would just hyperlink them and let them say "Twitter" and "Email". It would look a little nicer that way.

    Looks fantastic, I like it a lot. Maybe just play around with some different background colors and possibly add a texture/pattern/effect.

    Looks great Rickie. I just think that a more solid background for your previews would look better instead of a paper texture ;)

    Great redesign, I like it a lot.

    However, the right margin of the image does not fit to the other margins.

    Hahaa, the first mock up looked like a mix between Na's and Chris Masterson's site :P

    The new mock up is amazing though! The colors go well together. However, I don't think that available status should be there :S Maybe get rid of that glyph and keep the text?

    Chris was personally suggesting things to me as my coder, so I can see how it might resemble his website. ;)

    The homepage seems superfluous, as it scrolls through essentially everything on the portfolio page. Perhaps you should change the layout to have the homepage be the portfolio, and have a link to an "About Me" page?

    I rather liked the initial logo you previewed earlier. Also, on the portfolio page, I think it would add a lot if you added descriptions - not only is it contextually relevant, its interesting.

    what's the script used on the "slideshow" thing ?? i know it's some sort of JavaScript thing but don't know the name (:

    i'm going to say there's a footer missing, and it would look cool if the footer flowed along with the content, you can make it snap when there is no more content, and make it grow when there is more content to see.

    But, overall, you've done a good job at it :)

    PS : the tabbed menu is classy
